One thing that doesn’t get brought up often is that science is not another form of faith. Science is a method to understanding. It is the ability to look at a problem, suggest a solution, test it, allow other to independently test it, and be able to accept that knowledge is ever changing. Here is a great article on the topic.
If there is one thing that seems to hold true for most of us, it is that we always wish we knew what we know now back when it mattered. Then we try to pass on all our knowledge to our children so they don’t make the same mistakes as us.
