Canada, say no to the Amero

I was watching the conspiracy movie Zeitgeist the other day about the plans of the Canadian, US, and Mexican business elite wanting to create one currency for North America. It is scary that a lot of the negotiations are done outside of the public eye and are not voted on by the people. Here is what Rick Mercer says about the idea put forth by TD Bank…

On the topic of the movie Zeitgeist. You can watch the entire thing on their website. The beginning of the movie does have some disturbing images, but the rest of the movie seems to shy away from shocking us in this way. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. But, it is a thought provoking! I especially liked the break down of the myth of Jesus Christ. I could just imagine religious viewers squirming in their seats…I had heard quite a bit of the different conspiracies before, with the 9/11 cover up being the most prominant. I thought overall, it was an 8 out of 10. There you are! My first movie review at…

  1. Please please please tell me you didn’t honestly buy ANY of the crap that is the zeitgeist movie. All of it, from start to end, is utterly ridiculous, false, and unfounded. Even the part that tries to disprove the divinity of Jesus (which really shouldn’t be that hard) was full of nonsensical astrological “facts” that weren’t even right by astrology’s standards.

It’s called a conspiracy theory but it should really be called a conspiracy diarrhea. It was thought up by someone (or a group of people) so far separated from reality that when they see their own shadow they think the aliens have left more symbols on the ground for them to interpret. You gave it an 8 out of 10 for what? 8 out of 10 on the scale of how far gone the directors were? If that’s the case then I’d give it an 11.

  2. Ya, now that you bring up the weird astrological stuff…I forgot about that! Still, I liked the movie. I thought it was thought provoking, meaning that it brings up interesting ideas. But it is a conspiracy movie. Most conspiracy theories don’t have a lot of substance to them. I don’t think the directors are correct in their world views, but put on a good show. Hope that clarifies my “review”…

    Thanks for the comment!
